A LETTER
DEAR WORLD,
We’re happy to see you checking out our website, and we’re excited to share with you our passion for music! For us, it all began in Vancouver, where we met as participants in the same competition. Some minor stalking and a conversation later, we realized two things about each other: that we would be attending the same Conservatory a few months later, and that we didn’t despise each other at all! Come September, we became great friends. By some coincidence, these great friends were paired up together to play as a piano duo—and quickly, what started as a school requirement morphed into something incredibly fun and worthwhile. The more we played together, the more we realized how contrasting our musical personalities are. And though this had led to one passive-aggressive rehearsal or another, it has also pushed us out of our comfort zones, and helped us play off of one another’s strengths. From the first moment, we felt a spark of connection, which grew into a flame. We present to you this burst of flame: La Fiammata.
